Session 1: Configuration in a hybrid world - Fred Weinmann

As the use-cases of PowerShell proliferate, so do the way code execution is (or should be) being managed. Whether a module tries to avoid hardcoding information, parameter bloat is fought, CI/CD procedures need to be configured or individual scripts need be managed across a wide estate. Whether on Windows or on Linux.

This presentation is about handling all the complexity of all these configuration scenarios, presenting a simple and unified presentation to your code, while handling the most diverse configuration sources. Whether it is to configure modules as part of the same system as your scripts in your CI/CD pipeline or to manage script and module behaviour with Group Policy, DSC, Puppet or SCCM.
